Part Number: AAN-988
This brass trimmed fowler has a 1750 era appearance with a L&R Queen Anne flintlock and curly maple stock. The brass buttplate is wide and flat to best spread the recoil over a large area. The 30" octagon-to-round 20 gauge barrel is finished to a dark brown. Assembled by Jim Searles of J.P. Gunstocks this fowler has a touchmark at the breech. The fowler is used with some handling marks on the stock and has been decorated with brass tacks along the butt and wrist.
The 30" long octagon-to-round 20 gauge barrel, points easily without being overly heavy. The .618" diameter bore is bright and well maintained. The barrel exterior is finished to a smooth brown. A brass turtle sight is mounted 1-1/4" behind the muzzle. We recommend our 20 gauge wads and cards for use with this smoothbore.
