This well made Kentucky Pistol was constructed and signed by noted gunmaker Matt Avance. Stocked in a nice piece of curly maple the pistol is trimmed in browned iron furniture. The straight 7/8" octagon barrel is .40 caliber and measures 10" in length. The barrel is nicely browned to contrast the golden undertone on the curly maple stock and match the dark brown finish on the lock and furniture.
Ignition is provided by this pistol size small Siler flint lock, through a vent liner, for best ignition. The octagon pan , chamfered edges, and molding on the tail display the Germanic heritage of this lock. We recommend our 5/8" knapped English flints, #FLINT-ENG-5, for best performance.
